As a Lao-Diapora, I feel it is important to understand the roots of our history and upbringing which entails many new begginings for our South-East Asian countries, still recovering from enviormental and war-torn disasters. In these times it's important to share our diaspora's voices to help bring awareness to our communities and countries in current need of support. Awareness can come through many forms, and the most well-known is Art. My work here is to uplift South East Asian Music, Art and Community innitiative's to bring real change into our community, and that can only be done, together.

LaoCan - The Past Project
A documentary series collecting Lao-Canadian Diaspora generational stories from all generations across Canada. Lao being a war-torn country has left families with multitudes of triumph stories, courageous and powerful journeys that need to be shared to our future generations and world to understand the Lao Diaspora history.
